Today we are asked: Share a place where you go to find inspiration (museum, park, coffee shop, etc.). Why does it inspire you?
I love working in coffee shops. Something about them gives me inspiration. The people that walk in and out of the coffee house sometimes give me ideas for characters or place settings. When I lived in Canada, I used to sit outside in the park and it was amazing. The fresh air, the people walking around, all make for great ideas to put in a book.
Most of the time I write at home even though that can be hard with the kids running around. I manage somehow and the words come out. It would be nice to have a set spot in the house. I have a desk, but it is upstairs where all the toys are. It’s not always quiet! I’ll have my own private writing space one day.
