Welcome to this week’s blog hop! We’ve just moved into our new house and I’ve found a bit of time to squeak a blog in. If you missed what Brenda Margriet said, just click and pop back. Today the talented Carrie Elks asks us:

The new fall TV schedule is here – what are you watching and why do you love it so much? Does what you watch influence your writing?
Our regular show list is quite long and we barely have time to watch it all! Here is what we watch:
Gotham
Big Bang Theory
Super Girl
Agents of Shield
New Girl
Property Brothers
Blindspot
Superstore
Black List
Hell’s Kitchen
This fall season seems to have a lot of interesting new shoes, we are trying:
Timeless
Conviction
The Good Place
Frequency
I’m really excited to watch Timeless because it’s all about going back in history and finding someone who is trying to change history. After the first episode I was hooked! I’m watching the second one now.
I definitely think some of what we watch influences my writing. Sometimes I wish that I had come up with some of the ideas. I’ll watch a character on T.V. and take some of their mannerisms and put it into my writing.
I can’t wait to see what Carrie Elks watches. Continue on the hop and find out, until next time!

  1. I’ve been tempted to jump into Supergirl. The trailers look so good.

    1. Supergirl has been amazing! I’m excited to watch the second season. The main actress is a strong female lead and she kicks ass!

  2. I think we’re going to Netflix the Black List. We missed the first season and it felt like one of those shows you could dive into in the middle. LOVE James Spader!

    1. The Black List is AMAZING!!! I cannot get enough of that show! You definitely have to start it from the beginning.

That’s a big list, and a lot of great suggestions, can’t wait to check them out!
