Romance Writers Weekly ~ Unknown Facts

Hello everybody, I’m back! My family and I just came back from a 2 week vacation in St. John’s Newfoundland. It was amazing, incredible and wonderful. My husband and I lived there for six years and my son was born there. We haven’t been back since he turned one and he just turned 8!

It took a long time to get there but it was all worth it. We got to see friends, do a couple of day trips, stand on the most easterly part of North America and watch the first sunrise in North America. I have no words on how much this trip meant to me and my family. Here are some pictures.

Today we are asked:

Let’s share about ourselves! What are three things most people don’t know about you or your books?

One thing people might not know about me is that I’m very competitive! I don’t like to lose. I love winning in sports, cards games, board games or just fun little activities. I always like to win.

Another thing is that even though I grew up in California and lived in Canada for only 6 years, St. John’s holds a large part of my heart. I love the people there, the views and culture. I miss it deeply and it was very hard to leave.

I love to read, write poetry, short stories and I reread some of my books multiple times a year depending on my mood. I know deep down that I have a poetry book waiting to be written and published.

I have a finished novel that I’ve never published because I’m nervous no one will like it. Hopefully one day I will!

That’s it for me today, continue on the hop to see what we don’t know about Brenda Margriet. Until next time!
