Romance Writers Weekly – Inspirational Women

Thanks for joining us this Tuesday! If you missed what the talented Brenda Margriet had to say just click and pop back. Today the lovely Brenda asks us:

March 8th was International Women’s Day. Tell us about a woman in your life that has inspired you.

There are so many women that inspire me. One that has always inspired me through everything has been my mom. She is incredible. When my dad lost his job, I was eleven and my sister was eight, she found something and began working. She’s always taught me to be a strong, independent woman.

She taught me how to cook my own food, start my car if the battery is dead, call people and wait to get the right answers. I’ve been able to stand up for myself and do the right thing. My mom is one incredible woman. She learned how to sew many years ago and now she makes so many amazing things. She can make clothes, bags, coffee holders, pretty much anything you can think of or see on Pinterest, she can make.

I hope that I can impart the wisdom my mom has given to me onto my daughter. She has given me so many good things. One of the biggest things she’s told me is to never give up. Always go for you dreams and never quit.

One of my favourite quotes by a strong, inspirational female is from Eleanor Roosevelt:

“No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.”

Well that’s it for me today, now continue on the hop and see what the incredible A.S. Fenichel has to say. Until next time!
