Romance Writers Weekly ~ I’d Rather Be Swimming!

Hello fellow readers! I hope this blog finds you well. I have a question for you… How many books do you read at a time? Lately with joining a book club I’ve found that I’m reading around three or so. I’ll read the book club book, and depending on my mood one or two others.

I just finished reading The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab and I LOVED it! It’s a little bit magical, a little wishing of wanting something more and a little love mixed in. If you haven’t read it, you should check it out.

So what’s today’s topic? The talented Leslie Hachtel wants to know, if we could be any animal, what would it be and why?

I’ve always loved the water, so I would have to be something that lives in water. A whale, dolphin or otter would be so cool! I could swim underwater for miles and miles. The sensation of being able to breathe in water would be amazing. Of course if I could pick a mermaid, I totally would!

If I were an otter, I could come up and lay in the sun and bark at people!

Dolphins get to dive into the water and that always looks so graceful.

Whales make huge splashes and I would love to soak people.

Well I would live in the water and enjoy every minute of it. I’m also reading a swimming book right now to help hone my skills in the water. How I wish I could be a mammal in the water!

Let’s find out what animal Leslie Hachtel wants to be.
