I’m done with coaching swimming for the season! I can focus on writing, yaaaaaaay! 😀

Welcome to the blog hop! We have a blog hop going on each week. All of us authors get asked a question and we respond, hopping from one person to the next. If you missed what the wonderful Dani Jace had to say just click and pop back. Today’s question comes from Kathryn Renard and she asks us: Time to start planning your summer vacation! Share with our readers someplace you’ve traveled to that you recommend as a great vacation destination.

I don’t know if we are able to go on a vacation this year, but I hope we will. One of my best vacations was our honeymoon. We went to Italy and spent four days in Venice, Florence and Rome. I would go back in a heartbeat! I recommend spending at least two weeks there. My favourite place was Florence, I want to spend more time there. I loved the food, the culture, walking around and exploring. If you ever get a chance you should go!

We took an early vacation a couple of years ago and went to London. I have to say that place stuck to me. I would do a home exchange for 6 months and live there. We spent two weeks there, the first in Greenwich and the second in London. The walking around and exploring was amazing! I got to see so many sights that I’ve read in many romance novels, it was quite thrilling. I would love to go explore a bit more of Bath and those surrounding areas. Again, I suggest at least two weeks to explore and take in a show.

On the less extravagant side of things we went to Universal Studios in Orlando. That was super fun! You get to feel like a kid again and go on rides, eat fun foods and drink butterbeer! As you can tell my favourite part was Harry Potter world. Next time I will not be pregnant and will be able to go on many more rides.

I can give many more lovely recommendations like San Francisco, Seattle, Portland and Sunriver Oregon, Calgary, Halifax, Chicago, Arizona, Maui. If you have a chance to visit anyone of those places, you definitely should!

Thanks for joining us on the hop. What places does Kathryn recommend? Continue on the hop and find out. Until next time!
