Romance Writers Weekly – Sweet Valentine

Welcome to the blog hop! If you missed what the spectacular Brenda Margriet had to say, just click and pop back. Or you can continue on the hop to the wonderful Leslie Hachtel and come back around.

Today the remarkable Leslie asks us to tell our favourite Valentine story.

I’m not sure that I have a favourite Valentine story. I’ve read some good ones over the years. Since I don’t have a good story to tell I’ll let you know what I’ve done over the years.

My husband and I always do a little something for each other. One year we splurged and bought some lobster, cooked it up and make a delicious dinner. Other years we’ve just rented a movie and cuddled. We’ve also been out to nice restaurants.

This year we did something completely different and did a paint night. That’s where you go and attempt to paint a picture that the artist has done. The artist that instructed us is amazing! He takes you step by step into the process and in the end you actually come out with a good looking painting. We did one with a sunset and two wine glasses. Our paintings look great except for the alien looking hands I have in mine, haha. It was nice to get away for a couple of hours, have some wine and paint.

I’ll post our paintings below.

Well that’s it for me today, now continue on the hop, until next time! Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!
