#lovechatwrite
Welcome to the blog hop! I’ve been away for the last couple of weeks with trips and birthdays. First we went to Dillon Beach for my mother in laws birthday and spent time together walking along the beach, playing games, sitting in the hot tub and roasting hot dogs and marshmallows by the fire. It was super cold but worth it to get away from the heat we were in.
Then we headed to Disneyland for my birthday and Mother’s Day. It was a whirl wind blast! It’s about a 6/6.5 hour drive for us. We drove down on Sunday and walked around downtown Disney looking at all the shops then did Disney all day on Monday. We were there from 8a to 11:45p! The kids rocked it, we went on all the rides got the good churros and dole whips. Then Tuesday we did a bit of shopping in downtown Disney and drove home. It was absolutely amazing and a great way to spend my 40th birthday!
This week we are asked to tell about our pets and how they help with our writing.
I do have one dog and her name is Sadie. She was a rescue from my neighbour who had her for a bit first, but before that she’d already been to six different homes! She is a crazy, derpy, loving dog. She loves little dogs and always lays down in front of them waiting for them to greet her. She eats like she’s never eaten before, she even begs for more food right afters she’s eaten. And her toys are always destroyed within a week, haha!
We don’t know what type of dog she is but she’s always been good around the kids. Sadie will let my daughter lay in her bed with her, or on top of her. Even though she drives us nuts sometimes, she is ours. She doesn’t really help with my writing, she mostly just lays in her bed or will sometimes come over for a pet and a scratch.
