Romance Writers Weekly ~ My Life in TV

Welcome to this weeks blog hop! Busy week going on over here with my daughter finishing preschool this week and my son moving up to grade four in three weeks. Wow time is sure flying by. I’ve been taking a short story writing course and it has been very interesting. I’ve written down some ideas that I didn’t think I had in me. I’m excited to actually write a story from one of these ideas.

If you missed what the wonderful PG Forte had to say, just click and pop back.

Today we are asked: If you could live in any sitcom on TV past or present, which one would it be? Why? What character would you be?

The first show that popped into my head was Happy Days. I loved watching that show on Nick at Night even though it had been on reruns for years. Something about it always stuck with me. I don’t know that I would be any one character of the show, but I did have a major crush on The Fonze.

I would like to live in Friends. That show always had me laughing whenever I seemed to need it. The reruns are on all the time now and if it’s been a long day, I don’t mind having it on and just relaxing. I want to be Chandler. He had all the best lines and the whole arc of his character was great. The entire cast just seemed to love each other as a family and I think that when that happens on a show and outside of it, it’s just amazing.

My guilty pleasure right now is Emily in Paris. The fashion ~ oh la la the fashion! Wow, just to be in her shoes for 30 minutes would be mind-blowing.

It would also be fun to be in Bridgerton, because why not. I’m a romance author after all.

Well that’s it for me today, continue on the hop to see what the incredible show Leslie Hachtel wants to live in. Until next time!

Don’t forget to check out Leslie’s book Bound to Morocco!
