Romance Writers Weekly ~ It’s Movie Time!

Hello fellow readers! I hope everyone had a fantastic Canada Day and 4th of July. We kept it pretty low key and went over to my in-laws for a swim and burgers on the grill. My son had a great time throwing all the pop-its on the ground.

If you missed what the talented Caro Kinkead had to say, just click and pop back.

Today the wonderful Leslie Hachtel asks us to:

Tell us about your favorite movie and why you watch it over and over again.

The one movie I will always watch over and over again is Anne of Green Gables. I just absolutely love it. I’ve loved it since I was a child. Anne is just so feisty, independent, smart and incredible. And Gilbert…. that’s enough said right there.

I have the books and will read them once every couple of years. Whenever I’m feeling sad or lonely, I’ll watch this movie and it lifts my mood. I watch it when I’m happy because of Anne’s wit and way with words. In fact, I think it’s about time to find my old VHS and watch it again. This is one of the only movies that made a sequel later in their lives and it is so good.

There are many others I have seen over and over like Star Wars, Back to the Future, Sixteen Candles, Lord of the Rings, Princess Diaries and so many more.

That’s it for me today. I can’t wait to see what movie the incredible Leslie Hachtel watches many times over. Until next time!
