Romance Writers Weekly – Interview with Nathaniel Drake

Welcome, welcome, to this weeks blog hop! I hope everyone had a wonderful Father’s Day with their dads, husbands or significant others. We got to spend ours with lots of family which is always very nice. If you missed what the talented Leslie Hachtel had to say just click and pop back.

Today the amazing Brenda Margriet asks us to:

Choose a character from one of your books (published or WIP) to answer these five questions:

-What’s your favourite word? -What is your fondest childhood memory? – What one thing in our past do you wish you could do differently? -Vanilla or chocolate? -If you could have lunch with one famous person (alive or not) who would it be and why?

I’m Nathaniel Drake from Wrongfully Wed and I have decided to answer these questions. I have to say some of them are quite ridiculous. I don’t know why the author decided I would be the one to answer these. I would much rather be drinking in a pub right now. Perhaps we can get a drink and then I can answer these questions?

My favourite word is gin. No really it’s true, I love gin. You should have some. Some of my fondest childhood memories are when James gets injured, or something bad happens to him. It’s hilarious, I wish something worse would happen to him. Here have some gin. (Glasses clinking) In the past I had the chance to kill James, but it didn’t work. I would do it differently this time around so Rowan and the title of Lord will be mine. Everything that he has should belong to me, why should he have it all. Wow this gin is delicious! I don’t know about chocolate or vanilla but lemon tastes good, almost like gin. If I could have lunch with the King and Queen then perhaps I could tell them that my half brother is a terrible person and they should just grant me the Lordship right then and there. Well that is enough for me. I’m going to go to the pub with some friends and revel in a night of drinking and women.

Well that was certainly an interesting interview. Let’s continue on the hop and see what the incredible Brenda Margriet’s character has to say to these questions. Until next time!
