Romance Writer’s Weekly- Inspirational Food

Welcome to the blog hop! We authors like to get together and ask all sorts of questions. So if you missed what the lovely A.S. Fenichel had to say, just click and pop back. Today the fabulous Leslie Hachtel asks us:

Is there any particular food that sparks your creativity. Why do you think? Is it associated with something like a memory?

Well chocolate always seems to help! I love taking little bites of chocolate as I write. Especially the Brookside Crunch Clusters, those are the BEST!!

When I lived in St. John’s and went over to a friend’s house to write, her husband would always have the most delicious scones, croissants or muffins for us to eat while we wrote. Always from scratch and always with a cup of tea.

I suppose that’s why I like to have something to drink and a bit to eat while I write. I’m reminded of all the great writing we accomplished. So it’s no surprise I need something sweet each time I write. Not a whole lot, just a little something to get my creative juices flowing. I will always treasure the time we had together, now we live 5,000 miles apart and I miss her and our writing time so much!

What food gets the talented Leslie Hachtel’s creativity on the move? Continue on the blog hop and find out. Until next time, eat tasty things, my friends!
