Hello and welcome to the blog hop! I know we are going through crazy times right now, but think of it as having the time to be present and do the things that you’ve been putting off. Maybe clean the garage or start a project you’ve been wanting to do. Let’s try to stay positive!
If you missed what the amazing Brenda Margriet had to say, just click and pop back.
Today I ask my fellow authors:
What fictional characters (from tv, books, movies) would you be friends with if you could?
I love Superman, so it would be awesome to be friends with him. I just introduced my son to Lois and Clark The New Adventures of Superman, and he’s all about it. Actually pretty much any superhero, like Thor. It would be so cool to know the God of Thunder. Plus he’s so damn good looking 😉
There are so many books to choose from but I would enter the world of the Shadow Hunters and become friends with Clary and Jace. Or any of characters from Meg Cabot’s Boy Series! They are all strong independent women.
I would love to learn how to shoot arrows from Katniss from the Hunger Games or sword fight from Captain Jack Sparrow. Even though Daenerys died at the end of Game of Thrones, she was one strong, bad ass woman. I think that would be an interesting friendship.
Another intriguing person to become friends with would be Raymond Reddington from The Blacklist. I would want to know why and how he became the man he is.
There are more I could name, but these are the ones that stick out in my mind as wanting to get closer to, or having a friendship with them.
That’s it for me today, now continue on the hop to see who the incredible A.S. Fenichel wants to be friends with. Until next time!
Now check out A.S. Fenichel’s newest book, The Earl Not Taken the first in her new series The Wallflowers of West Lane.
Left standing on the side while their contemporaries marry into society, four young ladies forge a bond to guard each other from a similar fate . . .
Finishing school failed to make a proper lady of Penelope Arrington. But as a Wallflower of West Lane, Poppy has a far more vital role—she and her three best friends have made a pact to protect each other from the clutches of dangerous, disreputable men. So when one of them is about to be married off to a duke sight unseen, Poppy makes it her mission to divine the prospective husband’s true character. If only she didn’t require the aid of London’s most unsuitable rake.
Rhys Draper, Earl of Marsden, has known the headstrong Poppy since she was a young girl naïve to the ways of men. To her eternal chagrin—and to his vague amusement—they have been at odds over the memory of embarrassing first encounter all these years. Now, with his services in need, Rhys sees a chance to finally clear the air between them. Instead, he is surprised by the heat of their feelings. If the two do not tread carefully, they may end up in a most agreeably compromising position . . .
