Romance Writers Weekly ~ Book to Movie

Hello and welcome to the blog hop! I’ve missed the last couple of weeks because we got new floors installed. They are beautiful! We used to have tile and we’ve hated the tile ever since we moved in. We’ve spent seven years saving for this and I’m so excited to have laminate that’s easy to clean and mostly dent proof. I bet I’ll be the first one to drop something on these wonderful floors, but hey at least it will be me and not one of my family members.

If you missed what the talented Jill Haymaker had to say, click and pop back.

Today we are asked: If one of your books could be made into a movie, which one would you pick and what actors would you like to play your characters?

I’ve only written one full length novel and many, many short stories. I would love to turn my full length novel Wrongfully Wed into a movie. It would be amazing and so special.

My female main character Rowan has auburn hair, so I need someone with a really nice red hair. I always think of Megan Follows from Anne of Green Gables, but her hair is too light. However, her feisty demeanor is how my main character is. Maybe someone like Amy Adams or Sophie Turner. My heroine has green eyes that sparkle like emeralds or a vivid green.

My male heroine would be someone with dark brown hair almost black and shocking blue eyes. Someone like Henry Cavill, YUM! Or Ian Somerhalder, DELICIOUS! Those two men are definitely in the running. In fact I don’t know that I can choose.

I’ll leave you for today while I drool over these delicious men and women. That’s it for me, now continue on the hop to see which book the incredible Leslie Hachtel would like to turn into a movie. Until next time!

Don’t forget to check out Leslie’s book Murder Most Notorious.

A beautiful homicide detective and a sexy cold case guy have to team up to find a vicious ax-wielding killer. Brutal murders have shocked the city and all the evidence points to a twin sister once thought dead. So many twists and turns in this action packed romantic thriller you might get dizzy. And so much passion.
