Romance Writers Weekly – New Year, New Plans

Happy New Year everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful break and had a great time with friends and family. We stayed home this year and we had to split time between my parents and my husbands parents, so ours was very busy!

We did get some nice activities in like ice skating, hiking and walking through San Francisco.

The break was nice and now we are back at it. If you missed what the amazing Elizabeth Schechter had to say just click and pop back.

Today the incredible Elizabeth asks us:

“New Year, Who Dis?” — New Year’s plans and resolutions.

This year I’ve decided to do monthly resolutions. Just little somethings each month to help me through the year.

So for January I’m going to set a goal of decluttering and cleaning the house. I want to get rid of all the stuff we don’t need. All the old toys and clothes will be gone!

Right now I’m just taking it month by month, so I don’t stress out. As well with each new goal for the month I want to continue writing. It’s been hard with two young kids and I’ve been trying to carve out time. My goal is to write at least 100 words a day no matter what. I will of course work harder and some days I will have more, but 100 is the minimum!

Well off to cleaning and organizing and I will have another goal next month!

That’s it for me. Now continue on the hop to see what the talented Leslie Hachtel has to say. Until next time!
