My birthday was a couple of days ago. What do you do to celebrate your birthday and do you have one particular birthday that stands out above the rest?
I had a wonderful birthday this year, even being 7 months pregnant! My good friend took me to get a pedicure and we got to sit in those really nice massage chairs, it was perfect. Then my husband and I went to the movies to see Avengers Endgame. It was incredible! I won’t post any spoilers in case anyone hasn’t seen it, but oh my it was just amazing and I loved it!! Afterwards my parents took me, my husband and son out to dinner and we enjoyed a night with each others company.
Usually I like to celebrate my birthday surrounded by friends and by playing games. I absolutely love games! Board games, outside games, any type you name, I’ll like it. It’s been a while since we’ve actually had a game night but we will have to have one soon.
We have a friend that likes to have a theme every year and those are great! Last year was wrestlers and this year was gangsters. I always love a good costume party.
One of my most memorable birthdays was one in my 20’s. I can’t remember which one but it must have been an early one, because I look so young! We were living in San Francisco at the time and I decided I wanted to have a crazy hat party. We found this one eclectic shop that had all sorts of hats and it was so much fun! I had a huge birthday cake hat, my husband (then boyfriend) had a chicken hat, and there were so many other funny ones, it just mad it one of the most fun birthdays.
The most important thing for me on my birthday is to be surrounded by friends. I love to be around people. Well that’s it for me today, now continue on the hop to see how the incredible A.S. Fenichel celebrates her birthdays. Until next time!
