Romance Writers Weekly ~ Year of Memories

Welcome to our last hop of the year! I can’t believe Christmas is next week. I’m ready for teh year to be done, but not all at the same time. This year was a tough one for my family. With no full time job, it’s been a bit rough. I’m excited to spend Christmas with my family and celebrate New Years with some friends.

For this last hop we’re going to share some of our favorite memories and pictures along the way. Enjoy!

This year we got to travel to Maui to visit my in-laws, and that’s always fun.

We drove to Sunriver, Oregon with my family. That’s always an adventure and one we try to do every couple of years! It’s a beautiful place and if you haven’t been, you need to go! It has hiking, biking, pools, white water rafting and many more adventures.

We did a couple of days trips during our October break. We went to Santa Cruz where it was very cold but we still got in the water anyway! We took a drive up to Apple Hill and grabbed all sorts of different apples to taste. They also have the best apple bacon jam!

The day after Thanksgiving, we walked 6 miles around San Francisco. I love that city and it was so much fun seeing the giant gingerbread house and grabbing a hot chocolate in Ghirradeli Square.

All in all, it’s been a pretty stressful but good year. A lot of it was spent with family and some showed me who true friends were. I’m very thankful for this year and can’t wait to continue my goals as a personal trainer for next year along with substituting, being a swim coach and more writing!

Thanks for joining me this year, I hope to see you all next year. Continue on the hop to see the memories from the talented PG Forte. Happy holidays with all of your loved ones. Until next year!
