Romance Writers Weekly ~ Writing Challenges

Welcome to the blog hop. I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother’s Day. Yesterday I had a double celebration with it being Mother’s Day and my birthday! I got to spend the day in San Francisco with my family. We went out to lunch, had mimosas, and walked down to Pier 39 to see the Sea Lions. My kids got a kick out of those guys!

Today let’s talk about the hardest part about writing. I would definitely say finding the inspiration for me is sometimes difficult. I can sit down ready to write and then nothing comes out. I have the time carved out and when I try to put pen to paper, it’s just blank.

I have author friends that say their stories just bam! come to them, and the words just pour out of them. I wish that would happen to me. There are times where the words do come out but I really have to work at it.

Another hard thing is finding time. I don’t always get the same part of everyday to write. Sometimes I have the mornings and other times I have the evenings or afternoons. It all depends on my schedule for the day.

I do love writing and I feel like I’ve been away from it for a while. I’m excited to get back into it and hopefully some good stories will come from me. That’s it for me today, now continue on the hop to see what the hardest part of writing for the incredible PG Forte is. Until next time!

It’s Release Day!

GONE WITH THE WINE

(Book Two in the POUR DECISIONS series)

Meet the Martinelli sisters: Rosa, Bianca and Allegra. These partners in wine have just inherited a once-storied winery in the heart of Napa Valley. They’re living the dream, right?

Not so fast!

There are still hoops to jump through, barrels to get over, and a mountain of regulations they’ll have to scale. But these sisters are crushing it—and we don’t just mean the grapes. They’re making wine, falling in love, and working together to restore their inheritance to its former glory, one pour decision at a time.
