Romance Writers Weekly ~ Writers Spot

Hello everyone! Are you getting ready for the holidays? I like to celebrate Thanksgiving first and then I’ll set up all the Christmas decorations. We like to go pick out our tree and then try to get it into the house without all the pine needles falling off! What do you do for Thanksgiving? Do you host or go somewhere? We usually host and I love it. I love having people over at our house and enjoying everyone’s company.

Today we are asked Where do you write? Do you need to be in the same place all the time or do you move around? Share photos if you like.

I usually tend to write at my desk which is upstairs in the loft with all my kids toys and books. Not ideal, but I do get to look out the window which is nice. I’m not always at my desk. I love to go to a coffee shop and write or a book store. Sometimes I’m on my couch or outside in the front yard if I have to watch the kids.

I used to go write at a book store that had a fireplace and it was always so nice and warm. We’ve since moved away, but I’ve never found a comfy place like that here. Other times I’m just sitting at the kitchen table because that’s where I land. I do like working at my desk, although I have to clean it off, it’s very messy right now!

I have this funky chair that was given to me by my neighbour because I didn’t have a chair. I can’t wait to get a new one. I’m just now realizing that I have a glue bottle on my desk, a puzzle box, and some stickers, haha. You can tell that I have kids! I think on Thursday I’m going to go find a coffee shop to do some work in, my house is very cold right now.

That’s it for me today. Now continue on the hop to see where the incredible PG Forte likes to write. Until next time!

This collection features meet-cutes that take place in a bookstore/coffee shop. The heroines are looking for their HEA but never expected it to happen while picking up a cup of coffee or picking out their next book boyfriend.
