Hello and welcome to the blog hop! It will soon be Thanksgiving and we will be entertaining 14 people including ourselves. I’m excited to see family and eat yummy food together.
Did you miss what the amazing C.L. Marcolini had to say? If you did just click and pop back or continue on the hop and come around to her again.
Today the talented Leslie Hachtel asks us: What is your favourite vacation spot and why?
I’ve been to a couple of great places such as: Maui, Lake Tahoe, Seattle, Arizona, Montreal, Halifax, London, Italy. Each spot has held a special place in my heart.
If I had to choose a vacation place close to our home, I would choose Lake Tahoe in Northern California. It is a wonderful place to visit in the summer or in the winter. You can ride bikes, camp, swim in the lake in the summer with boats and BBQ’s. In the winter you can go skiing or snowboarding and sit by a nice warm fire drinking cocoa or play board games.
For a vacation away it would be hard to choose. I would love to go back to any of the previous places I’ve been. Especially London and Italy. I would love to spend more time traversing the streets and getting to learn more of the culture.
I lived in St. John’s for six years and I love it there. If you haven’t had the chance to visit the most easterly point of North America, I highly suggest you do! Newfoundland is amazing! On the west coast you can visit some of the first Viking Settlements and on the east coast you can see the bustling town that was once a great fishing town. The colourful houses and friendly people make this a must go to place at least once. I can’t wait to return and hopefully visit for a month or longer.
Well enough about my vacations spots. Where does the lovely A.S. Fenichel like to go? Continue on the hop and find out. Until next time!
