Romance Writers Weekly ~ What To Read?

Hello lovely readers! I hope everyone is doing well. We had yet another sunny day in California (who would have guessed…) I wish we had colder weather. I think it’s too early for it to be 21 degrees! I’m still wanting to be in the sweater wearing mode.

If you missed what the talented Clair Brett had to say just click and pop back.

Today the incredible Brenda Margriet asks us:

Writers are readers, too! What have you been reading lately?

It’s true, I love to read! I’ve been a voracious reader ever since I was young. You could always find me with a book in my hand. It’s very much the same now. I’ll be eating breakfast and reading while my son is on zoom and my daughters toddles around.

Right now I’m in a book club, so I tend to read two books per month, sometimes three if I’m reading them at the same time. If I’m feeling sad or happy, I’ll reread my favorite author or book.

This month my book club is reading Good Neighbors by Sarah Langan. It is sooooo good! I can’t put it down and have spent way too many late nights reading. I won’t spoil anything, but here’s a tidbit. It’s about a neighbor hood and all the neighbors that live there and what happens when one of them falls into a sinkhole that’s opened up. If you haven’t picked this book up yet, you should!

The other book that I’m currently reading is called Bitten by Kelley Armstrong. This one is about the only female werewolf in a pack of all men. She wants to leave behind her pack life and forge a new one going forward with someone she loves. It all goes to hell when she’s called back to help out her pack. So far it is very good and keeping me reading along. I think there is a sequel, so I will probably read that after.

I have a couple more books lined up in my queue like; Fahrenheit 451, Love Your Life, The Invisible Life of Addie Larue and Tweet Cute. I’m looking forward to reading those next!

I can’t wait to see what the amazing A.S. Fenichel is reading, so hop into her blog next. Until next time!
