Romance Writer’s Weekly – Through the Looking Glass

Hello and welcome to the blog hop! We are a group of writers who pose topics to each other and answer them each week. Unique in what we write, we all come together for romance. So if you missed what the incredible A.S. Fenichel had to say just click and pop back. Today the amazing Leslie Hachtel asks us:

Do you feel like you’re on the outside looking in or just the opposite? Why?

What an interesting question! I’d say for most of my life I’ve been on the outside looking in. Not in a bad way, that’s just how it’s always been. Some parts of my life it’s been the opposite, but for the most part I’m on the outside.

I’ve always been a person who has made friends very easily. I fit into many groups, perhaps that is always why I look in and see everyone. The same goes for my writing, I’m on the outside, but I can look in and see the characters in my mind and what they want to say and do.

Some days when I am in looking out, are the best days to get my random thoughts out of my head and into a journal. That way when I am writing I can switch and get into my character’s heads without any distraction.

So how does the talented Leslie Hachtel feel? Continue on the blog hop and find out. Until next time!
