Romance Writers Weekly ~ Think About Ink

Hello and welcome to the blog hop! I was away on a family vacation last week and it was nice to get away. My parents, my family and my sister and boyfriend drove the 8 hours to Sunriver, Oregon. We used to go there as children, but we haven’t been there in thirteen years. It was so amazing!

We got to bike everywhere. They have paths that go from the houses you rent to the village, the pools, the caves, and the farm. We took our son white water rafting and it was a blast. Canoeing on the river was a great experience for the whole family. I highly recommend going to Sunriver for a vacation!

Today we are asked: If you were to get a tattoo, what would it say or what would the graphic be? And where would you put it on your body?

I have three tattoos. I had always wanted one, so when I was old enough me and a friend went to get one together. We both got stars in different colours.

After my son was born, I took our three horoscope signs and put them into a tattoo. I’m a taurus, my husband is a scorpio and my son is a virgo. It’s very special to me and it’s on my wrist. I need to figure out how to add my daughter into the design.

We lived in Canada for six years and it holds a special place in my heart. So last October when we traveled back to St. John’s I was able to get an appointment and I got the maple leaf with a heart in the middle with a stained glass type of design. This one is on the back of my arm above my elbow.

I would love to incorporate some mermaid scales one day because I’m always in the water. Also something book related because, duh I love to read. I’m also a huge Harry Potter fan so something with that.

That’s it for me today, continue on the hop to see if Leslie Hachtel has tattoos or wants any. Until next time!
