Welcome everyone! I hope everyone has had the chance to delve deep into a good book. I’ve just finished Chosen Ones, it was really interesting about magic and trying to defeat a dark one! I’m now reading The Ten Thousand Doors of January and it’s captured my attention right away.
Today Leslie Hachtel asks us what is your favorite book and how many times have you read it?
Oh wow! I have so many favourites it’s hard to choose. I have a few (many) books that I reread in different genres. In romance I’ll read The Rose and the Shield by Sara Bennett or Dukes are Forever by Anna Harrington. For Sci-fi/Fantasy it’s The Rowan and A Discovery of Witches. I have a lot of young adult books that I often reread like; The Night World Series, The Arc of a Scythe Series.
My list could go on and on! I’ll reread anything by Meg Cabot, especially her Boy Series. Some of Sophie Kinsella’s stand alones are really good. Harry Potter is another series I will continue to reread until I’m old and gray! I’m reading it with my son right now and it’s like reliving it all over again for the first time. It’s magical.
I have a hard time giving books away. I like to reread a lot of them. I have two full bookshelves and more on the stacked on the floor! I need to build a library in my house, that will help.
