Welcome to the blog hop. We are into our last week of summer here… my son starts school with distance learning this Wednesday! I hoping that we will be able to get school work done in the morning and then do some fun outside afternoon activities.
If you missed what the amazing Clair Brett had to say, just click and pop back.
Today the incredible Caro Kinkead asks us:
What’s your favorite “comfort” read and/or viewing?
It’s really dependent on my moods. Sometimes I’ll want romantic and cheesy, other times I’ll want action and adventure and then there is good old comedy that lightens up any mood.
I love reading anything by Meg Cabot, Tamora Pierce, Anna Harrington, Sophie Kinsella and Ken Follett. I recently finished the Arc of A Scythe Series by Neal Shusterman and it was AMAZING! I loved everything about it, and it was definitely action. I also just finished Again, But Better by Christine Riccio, and I couldn’t put it down.
Same with watching a movie or TV show, it depends on my mood. We’ve just watched the entire series of Schitt’s Creek. I’ve never laughed so hard in my life! I’m a super dork and rented The Kissing Booth, a romantic comedy. I really enjoyed it. We also watched The Old Guard on Netflix, super actiony!
I usually curl up on the couch to read a good book or watch a TV show. I have an awesome chair in my room that’s perfect for reading. Now I just have to find some time after homeschooling, working out and cleaning!
That’s it for me today, now continue on the hop to see what talented Caro Kinkead has to say for comfort reads. Until next time!
