Romance Writers Weekly ~ The Hulk Likes Romance

Hello my fellow authors and readers. How are you doing today? I’m about to start coaching swim team again. It’s the calm before everything begins. Soon I will be on a pool deck all day long teaching kids how to swim and refining their technique. I’m very excited to be back.

Today we are asked:

Put yourself in someone else’s shoes. Write about what someone else might think reading your books. That person could be someone from a different generation, a different country, or a different species. (Romance through the eyes of my kitty…LOL)

Grrrr. Me Hulk. Me don’t like to read. Big words make Hulk angry. Hulk wants to smash books! Grrrr.

Wait! What book is this? Big muscle-y man on front cover like Hulk except not green. *flexes muscles* Me like big muscles. Who woman? She look like Natasha.

Maybe Hulk like book. I read it. Big muscle man like lady. Just like Hulk like Natasha.

Lady is strong too. She sometimes is stronger than man. She knows how to do things for herself. Lady likes muscles on man. Hulk flex muscles. *flexes muscles.*

Need more books like this. Lots of kisses. Hulk likes romance. Hulk likes love. Need more love books from this author.

Hulk need to go smash right now, then come back and read more love. *HULK SMASH!*

Okay back now. Hulk going to read love books even though Iron Man makes fun of Hulk. Hulk still likes to read. Makes Hulk smarter. Maybe Hulk will be smarter than Iron Man now!

Hulk likes to read romance books. Hulk loves love! Grrrr, me Hulk.

That’s it for me today, now continue on the hop to see who’s perspective Brenda Margriet wrote from. Until next time!

Two long-time friends…one impulsive seduction…zero percent chance their lives will ever be the same again. The peace Helen Mansfield struggled to achieve after the death of her husband is threatened when she discovers a lump in her breast. Determined to keep the alarming news to herself until the biopsy results are revealed, she sets out to wring every drop of delight from her days. Nathan Spieth stood by his wife while she fought and ultimately lost her battle with cancer. Since then, he’s devoted his energy to rebuilding the career that he neglected during her final years, and all his hard work is about to pay off. As neighbours and friends, Helen and Nathan’s lives have been woven together for more than twenty years. One impetuous, impassioned night might destroy everything they share—or prove to this fiercely independent woman and determinedly solitary man that love is always worth the risk.
