Welcome to the blog hop! Well, I’m still here… my baby girl’s due date is today and it is 9:45p! She still hasn’t come. I bet she will be late just like her brother was.
It’s just me and the talented Leslie Hachtel today. I posed this question:
Do you like to travel in the summer or stay home? If you do travel, where is your favourite place you’ve been?
As a child I remember going on some sort of vacation. Even though we had swim team, we would usually take a week or a couple of days off and go somewhere. I had grandparents in Arizona and Washington and we used to fly, sometimes even drive to go and visit them. We used to go to Oregon to a place called Sunriver and that is such a beautiful place to go with family. I want to take my family there one summer.
I do like to take a couple of weekends here and there to get out of town and go do something different. Other times I like to take a week or two to get away. This summer we didn’t go anywhere because we didn’t know when our little missus would make her debut. Then my son starts school in two weeks! The summer is at an end, at least for now. I’m hoping maybe we can get away for a weekend, but I don’t know.
Next year we plan to go to Montreal for a family members wedding and hopefully pop up to Newfoundland to visit friends!! I’m very much looking forward to that.
I don’t know if I could choose a favourite place. They all have a special place in my heart. I would like to visit many other places in the US, Canada and other countries. I can’t wait to see where we travel to next!
