Hello and welcome! This past week was supposed to be a quiet slow week, but alas it was not. My husband was out of town and the kids had so many after school activities, that I didn’t end up going to bed until very late each night. The weekend was also packed with soccer, birthday parties and swim awards night.
Today we talk about How do older characters experience summer differently — and how does that shape their love stories?
I think the older characters have the years of experience behind them so they see things in a different light. They are able to let some things go in a better way than someone much younger.
Sometimes a younger character will act rather rashly and not think about their actions. However, older characters may have been hurt in the past and that keeps their heart closed for a very long time.
Each love story has a different beginning and ending. I think that both older and younger characters have their own perspectives on what to do during summer. A summer could mean relaxing by the beach with a glass of wine, or at a party dancing away the night.
Either way love will always be in the summer night air. That’s it for me, continue on the hop to see what wonderful Jill Haymaker has to say. Until next time!
