Romance Writers Weekly ~ Stranded

Hello and thanks for joining us this week! I hope everyone had a fun and safe holiday if they celebrated it. We saw more fireworks going off from our surrounding neighbourhood areas than a normal 4th of July!

If you missed what the lovely Brenda Margriet had to say, just click and pop back.

Today the incredible Leslie Hachtel asks us:

If you were stranded on a desert island, what three books would you want with you and why?

Just three books?! That’s a tough decision. One of them for sure would be a Harry Potter book, which one… I’m not sure. I know that’s cheating but I will have to think long and hard on that one. Maybe the Prisoner of Azkaban. I feel like that’s the book where everything takes a big turn.

There has to be a romance book of course! There are so many to choose from. However, I think I would choose the first romance book I ever read, The Rose and The Shield by Sara Bennett.

The last book I want with me is The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett. My dad passed it onto me after he’d read it and I loved it! I’ve read it multiple times. It has love, greed, intrigue, revenge and so much more. They even made a mini series about it, which was really good!

I could think of many more books I would want to bring. However, I think these are the ones I would choose, but it was tough. I just finished the Arc of a Scythe Series, and it was amazing! That one contends with my top ten.

Now continue on the hop to see which books the instigator of the topic would take with her, the amazing Leslie Hachtel is next. Until next time!
