Romance Writers Weekly ~ Spare Time

Hi everyone, I hope it’s been a nice weekend. I went to go see the Broadway play The Notebook. It was really good! If you get a chance to see it, I highly recommend it. I loved the way they showed the older, middle and younger Allie and Noah.

Today we talk about how we spend our time when not writing.

Well I love to exercise. I like to do weights, swim, hike, golf, all sorts of things. I also do love having quiet days inside and read. I’ve really been into reading in the morning before I get out of bed, even if I have to substitute I try to read page or two before hopping out of bed.

Besides reading, I like to spend time with friends. I really like fun outings like axe throwing or escape rooms. Good food is always a plus along the way. Sometimes wine tasting is fun as well.

I love movie and game nights. They are so much fun! Games are the best.

As you can see, there are a lot of things to do to fill my spare time when not writing. That’s it for me today, now continue on the hop to see what the wonderful PG Forte does in her extra time. Until next time!

My characters were Doc, a drunk veterinarian; Jim, an anxious bounty hunter; and Candy, a picky stripper. My setting was a Hollywood Premier party. And my line of dialogue was, “Why don’t you take off your shirt?”

This was the result…
