Hello and welcome! It’s been a couple of weeks since I’ve been able to join. Coaching swim team has taken up most of my time. I’ve had some long days in the sun and I just finished an eleven straight day work weeks, but it’s worth it to see the kids improve each swim meet and make it a life long passion.

Today we are asked What’s the most out-of-character thing you’ve ever done?
I think for me it was moving out of my home state to go and live in St. John’s Newfoundland. I’ve always stayed close to home, but after I got married we made the decision to go try to live some place new. It really tested me. I had never lived that far from home before but this was two long flights away and on the other side of the country. It was hard at first, but I came to love St. John’s and now it has a piece of my heart. It also helped me grow into a different person which was a good thing for me to do.
It’s also hard for me to say no to people and one time I was so upset with how I was being treated by a friend that I finally said no. It took all my strength for me to do it but I did. A lot of people get surprised when I stand up for myself and I’m learning how to do that more and more each day.
