Welcome to the blog hop! I hope everyone had a great week. It sure has been busy over here. Lots of driving kids to all the activities and parties and everything in between.
Today we are asked: Would you rather read (or write) about a rekindled flame or a brand-new passion? Is your choice influenced by the age of the characters?
I do love a rekindled flame. There is something about knowing the characters, or knowing their past brings a certain heat to the story. I’ve written a rekindled story before and I enjoyed it a lot. The main characters have the history there, they have the sense of knowing things about each other.
I also like a brand new passion. It depends on the mood I’m in for what I read. Brand new passion is fun, spicy and romantic. Every little thing is something new and fun to be explored. Where does their story go next? What happens in the dark moment and how do they over come it?
The age of the characters don’t really influence my choice. I enjoy both genres. Like I said, it really depends on the mood I’m in. Right now I think my mind is on rekindled flame, and I’m really hoping with my heart of hearts that they get back together.
That’s it for me today, now continue on the hop to see if Brenda Margriet likes rekindled or brand new passion. Until next time!
