Hello and welcome! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving however you celebrated it. We usually host with about 15 people, but because we have to be so careful, it was only our family and my parents.
My husband made the turkey, stuffing and brussel sprouts. I made apple pie and pumpkin tartlets and my parents made green bean casserole, potatoes and cranberries. It was the perfect amount and we finished the leftovers yesterday.
We were really safe and ate outside. It was windy, but luckily a very nice day. At least we got to be with family.

Today the incredible A.S. Fenichel asks us to tell about our writing plans for the new year. What’s upcoming and why are you excited about it?
This next year I really want to focus on putting all my poems that I’ve written into a book. I would like to try and get that published. I’ve read a few poetry books and I think I can do it.
I have quite a bit of poetry and could make a small collection. I would have to figure out how to design the pages or if I would have it as just typed out. I’m very excited about this.
Another goal of mine is to put all of my short stories and flash fictions together and make a small book. I don’t know if I should sell the stories separately or bundled together.
Of course I would love to write another full length novel, but for some reason I’ve been blocked for a LONG time. I can’t seem to find a good idea. I will continue working on editing my other novel.
I’m hoping this next year will be a good writing year with flowing ideas!
