Happy New Year everyone! I hope that you all had a wonderful holiday. We stayed very low key this year. The kids made cookies with me and their grandparents, we went skating a couple of times and we decorated the house. Now we are back to the grind with school, studying and decluttering! I’ve gone through my kids closets and the kitchen pantry. I still have some old toys to go through and my room, but I’m happy to be purging.
Today we talk about what we’re looking forward to most in 2025.
I’m definitely looking forward to going on our family vacation to Sunriver, Oregon. We used to go as kids and then stopped for many years. A few years ago my parents asked if we wanted to go and it was so much fun! We went white water rafting, canoeing, hiking, biking. It was great and I’m so excited to go back.
I’ve been studying for my personal trainer test and when I get that certification later this year I’ll be nervous but ready to start a new journey! I also look forward to some more writing. I think it’s time I took out my original manuscript and polished it up.
That’s it for me today, now continue on the hop to see what the incredible Brenda Margriet has to say. Until next time!

Leeza Boychuk is battling to save a failing business, furious at her philandering ex-husband, and devastated her son has put an ocean between them. Determined to return the journal to the soldier’s family, she enlists the help of Gavin Fletcher, an enigmatic widower. His calm steadfastness is soothing to Leeza’s tattered soul, until a soul-searing kiss kindles a longing she isn’t ready to explore.
But Leeza can’t abandon her quest…even if it means confronting her feelings for this increasingly intriguing man.
