Romance Writers Weekly ~ New Year, New Goals

Happy New Year everyone! I hope your holidays were spent with family and friends. We didn’t travel anywhere this year which was nice. We went to my in-laws on Christmas eve and my parents later Christmas day. It was a bit chaotic, but a lot of fun.

We went skating multiple times, walking, and I spent a lot of time reading which was awesome!

So for the new year; what are you looking forward to in the new year, personal and/or professional? What are your author goals?

Honestly, I’m looking forward to more peace and calm. I feel like my life has been in such turmoil for the past year that it’s been hard and I’m ready for things to relax.

Some of my goals are to write in more short story contests. I’ve done the 100, 250, 500 and 1000 micro flash fictions. I still have my novel that I’ve written, but it definitely needs to be edited!

I have my personal training degree that I just got certified in this past year, so I would like to get some clients. I’m afraid I will do something wrong, so that is what I need to work on. I’m afraid to fail.

I have a side business of Melaleuca. It’s like Whole Foods quality for Walmart prices! I get all my green cleaning supplies from the company and I feel safe that my kids can use them. They have great facial products as well. I would like to get more people on my team this year.

That’s it for me today, now continue on the hop to see what goals the incredible PG Forte has. Until next time!

Meet the Martinelli sisters: Rosa, Bianca and Allegra. These partners in wine have just inherited a once-storied winery in the heart of Napa Valley.

These sisters are crushing it—and we don’t just mean the grapes. They’re making wine, falling in love, and working together to restore their inheritance to its former glory, one pour decision at a time.Click the  link to purchase the trilogy, Le Tre Sorelle.
