Romance Writers Weekly – Keeping Up On Goals

Hello and welcome! I hope everyone had a great weekend. This week I’m starting up coaching my son’s swim team. Things are going to get busy! I’m not quite sure why I agreed to this… but we will see how it works out.

If you missed what the talented A.S. Fenichel had to say just click and pop back.

This week the incredible Clair Brett asks us:

How are we all doing on our New Year’s resolutions/goals? What are your tips for sticking to it. When do you decide to scream “Plot Twist” and go in a different direction.

Truth be told, I’m not on the track I want to be on. I haven’t been able to do a lot of writing. I think I need to scream “plot twist” now!

I want to start waking a little bit earlier so I can have some quiet time in the morning to do some writing. If that doesn’t work then hopefully I’ll have some time in the evening to write a little. If I can make time to write a blog, then I think I have time to work on my own writing.

I still want to make my goal of writing each day, even if it is only ten minutes. Maybe I need to change some things around or reorganize my schedule so I can get some writing time in. (Or cleaning time, I feel like my house is a disaster.)

So here is to refocusing my energy and getting back on track! That’s it for me today. Now continue on the hop and see what the wonderful Clair Brett has to say about her resolutions. Until next time!
