Hello and welcome to the blog hop! The last couple of weeks have been crazy and I’m glad to be back. I entered myself into a writing contest and had to write a spy short story! I’ve never written the spy genre before and it was hard. I also had to incorporate a goalkeeper as a character and a loan as a subject. It was definitely out of my comfort zone, but I had a lot of fun.

Today’s topic comes from Andie Fenichel and she asks us:
Is there a place that takes your breath away? Does any particular landscape give you a feeling of joy and inspiration that no other place can? Do you have pictures?
There are two places that always take my breath away. I’ve lived in both of them. They are San Francisco and St. John’s. I know there are many other places, but something about these two. Stonehenge is probably the next highest landscape that is just amazing.
Golden Gate Bridge is one of my favourite landscapes. Every time I go across it, I get goosebumps. It’s just so pretty! Here is one that I took many years ago while driving across. There is a beach right by the bridge where you can play and turn to one side to see the bridge and turn to the other to view the city.
Another city that takes my breath away is St. John’s. There are so many landscapes there that are inspiring. From the colorful houses to the ocean views, one can never get enough. I can’t wait to go back and visit and take my son around to show where he grew up.
There are so many more places that I want to visit. I’m waiting for the next city or country to take my breath away.
That’s it for me today, now continue on the hop to see what amazing places are inspirational to Leslie Hachtel. Until next time!
