Welcome to this week’s blog hop! I’m still over here sorting through things and studying my brains out. I do some every day, and I do get tired of it. Sometimes at night, I just want to sit and watch TV and not do anything, but I know there is studying to do.
Today we are asked: Do you have a fitness routine? What do you do to maintain your physical and mental health?
I definitely have a fitness routine! Right now I’m doing a program my friend created, she’s a personal trainer. Monday is leg day one, focused on quads, Tuesday is upper body one, focused on chest and triceps. Wednesday is cardio and abs, Thursday is leg day two, focused on glutes and hamstrings, Friday is upper body two, focused back and biceps, and Saturday and Sunday are rest days with water. Sometimes the days don’t exactly line up that’s why there are days to move around. The goal is to drink half a gallon of water every day and 10k steps.
My cardio days are usually swimming or walking. I’ve always loved to swim and I try to do that two-three days a week. I maintain my physical and mental health with listening to my body. If I don’t feel like doing a workout then I will let my body rest.
I’ve always liked keeping up with my health and fitness. I like to encourage others to do the same, even if it’s only a walk with their dog.
That’s it for me today, now pop on over to see what the wonderful Brenda Margriet has to say about fitness. Until next time!

A mysterious diary ignites a shared quest…and an unexpected romance.
Leeza Boychuk is battling to save a failing business, furious at her philandering ex-husband, and devastated her son has put an ocean between them. The heartbreaking diary she discovers in her grandfather’s effects becomes more than a distraction from the disaster that is her life—it becomes a chance to right a decades-old wrong.
Determined to return the journal to the soldier’s family, she enlists the help of Gavin Fletcher, an enigmatic widower. His calm steadfastness is soothing to Leeza’s tattered soul, until a soul-searing kiss kindles a longing she isn’t ready to explore.
But Leeza can’t abandon her quest…even if it means confronting her feelings for this increasingly intriguing man.
