Happy fall and welcome to the blog hop! I’m so happy the weather is getting cooler. Although, it got cooler and I got a cold. I thought it was nothing, but the pain in my sinuses got super bad and after a week and a half, I went into urgent care. Welp, found out I had a double ear infection! So now I’m on antibiotics waiting until I can swim again.
Today we are asked to Discuss why happy endings matter in romance fiction.
I believe happy endings matter because we need them. Sometimes our lives are so upside down and we get sad or upset, I find reading a book that has a happy ending helps me so much.
In fact this last week has been so topsy turvy emotionally that I went back to my favourite boy series books by Meg Cabot. I’ve plowed through 3 of them so far and started the fourth and final one. They helped me because I know that at the end of each one, it will be happy.
Happy endings matter because they give you hope, healing, strength and comfort when you need it the most. A happily ever after is the most important thing in romantic fiction. If you don’t have a happy ending, then you don’t have a romance book. They are a necessity.
That’s it for me today, now continue on the hop to see why happy endings matter to Leslie Hachtel. Until next time!
