Welcome! I hope that everyone had a nice relaxing long weekend. It was my son’s birthday so we celebrated with a pool party and a Harry Potter theme. My sister helped and outdid herself with creating different stations like planting mandrakes and, playing quidditch, and potions. It was a blast and I hope he had so much fun.
Today were asked: What’s your favourite season, both in real life and in your writing?
I love, love, love the fall! It is my favorite season by far. There are beautiful colors everywhere, the smells are delicious and the weather is much cooler. I love apples and all the spices.
Halloween is also in fall and I enjoy the costumes and the excitement. I remember as a child, raking up leaves and then jumping in the huge pile. It was always so much fun. We don’t have leafy trees for my kids to jump in, but I bet they would love it.
In my writing I like to add summer into the mix. You can always do some fun things during the warmer weather. I do still add fall into most of my scenes.
That’s it for me today, continue on the hop to see what the incredible Brenda Margriet’s favourite season is. Until next time!
