Romance Writers Weekly ~ DIY Hacks

Welcome to the blog hop! This is going to be a busy November. My husband has a couple of events for his clothing business so he’s excited to go to those! We also have his birthday coming up and Thanksgiving. There’s also Christmas card planning, gifts and holiday events to attend. Whew! I think the new year is going to be here before I even realize it.

On to the blog hop! If you missed what the wonderful Brenda Margriet had to say, just click and pop back.

Today we are asked: What’s your favourite DIY or life hack?

I learned this one from my mom, she’s always so handy. If you put a rubber band around a paint can when you’re painting, you can use it to wipe away paint instead of using the side of the can! That way paint doesn’t drip down the side!

For some reason I had a ton of ideas and when I went to write this I couldn’t think of any more. I did however find this DIY and I have to try it because we have batteries laying everywhere!! (Because kids…)

-Bounce batteries to see if they’re good or bad. Drop them on a table from about 6 inches. If they give one small bounce and fall right over, they’re good. If they bounce around any more than that, they’re dead or on the way out.

So that’s it for me today, continue on the hop to see what hacks the incredible Leslie Hachtel has to share. Until next time!
