Romance Writers Weekly ~ April Fool’s!

I’m back! We’ve just returned from our spring break trip to visit my in-laws in Maui. It was a blast. As the kids get older I think they enjoy the ocean more and more. We brought our son out to try paddle boarding and he had a lot of fun. My daughter who is afraid of water wanted to jump over the waves over and over again. We saw a magic show and both kids got up on stage! We saw the Little Shop of Horrors Play which was also pretty good. There were many, many beach days and only one sun burn and one kid getting sick. Overall it was a really nice vacation and I can’t wait to go back.

Here’s our topic today: It’s April Fool’s Day! What’s the best prank you’ve ever heard about (or done)?

I’ve played the silly ones like we’ve won a million dollars. (Boy do I wish that were true right now.) The one where we say you don’t have to go to school. I’ve never really pulled a big prank.

My husband told me that he’s put glue on people’s chairs before. A big one he did was change grades in one of his classrooms! He saw the papers, he saw the red pen and he changed the grades.

I’m a swim coach, so my fellow other coaches have played the snickers at the bottom of the pool joke, and cleared the pool. That one was hilarious, I think the older kids got it, I don’t know if the younger kids did.

I don’t have anything planned this April Fool’s, I’ll have to think of one for next year. That’s it for me today, now continue on the hop to see if the fabulous Jill Haymaker plans on playing any jokes this year. Until next time!
