Romance Writers Weekly – A Little Bit of Romance in my Life.

Hello and welcome to the blog hop! I’m back at it this week and ready to get some writing done. This past weekend my husband and I did an escape room for a friends birthday and it was super fun! It was called Prison Break and we had to find keys, do puzzles, listen to letters and numbers and enter codes. I’m happy to say that we escaped with 19 minutes remaining! Yay!

If you missed what the amazing Leslie Hachtel had to say just click and pop back.

Today the incredible Leslie asks us:

What genre do you love to write the most and why?

I’ve written horror and suspense in writing contests and that has been a lot of fun but I always come back to romance.

When I first started writing, it was poetry. I’ve been writing poetry since I was in junior high. After I moved to St. John’s I couldn’t work so I joined a writing group and began to write.

I love reading romance so I decided to try and write it. I really do enjoy everything about the romance genre, from the meeting of the hero and heroine, the ups and downs, the evil bad guys and of course the happily ever afters.

My heart will always be with writing romance. I’m excited to write some more romance novels and along the way I will sprinkle in some other genres.

Well that’s it for me today, now continue on the hop to see what genre the talented A.S. Fenichel loves to write. Until next time!
