Aaaaand we’ve entered HOT weather here in California…. I think 85 degrees F/ 31 degrees C is all about I can handle. Any hotter than this and I start to melt! Right now I’m sitting in the shade of the trees in my front yard while my son runs around crazy with the neighbors, I guess he likes the heat.

I love daily mantras, they get me through the day and almost always gets me through tough times. What gets you over the hump of a really bad day?
There are some good mantras out there. Once in a while I come across a really good one, but here are some of my favourites:
“No one is you and that is your power.”
“You don’t read a book backwards, so why live your life that way. Move forwards.”
“Those who dare to fail miserably can achieve greatly.” -JFK
“Never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.” -Babe Ruth
